Terri Gold Wins Honorable Mention at 12th Black & White Spider Awards

I’m thrilled to have received an Honorable Mention in the Nature category for my image “Mysterious Sossuvlei Dunes” in the 12th Black & White Spider Awards, as well as a nomination for my image “Deadvlei in Namibia“.

10TH ANNUAL BLACK AND WHITE SPIDER AWARDS HONORS PHOTOGRAPHER TERRI GOLD FROM THE UNITED STATES

LOS ANGELES December 15, 2015 – Professional photographer Terri Gold of The United States was presented with the 10th Annual Black and White Spider Awards Honorable Mention in the category of Portrait at a prestigious Nomination & Winners PhotoShow webcast Saturday, November 21, 2015.

The live online gala was attended by over 10,000 photography fans around the globe who logged on to watch the climax of the industry’s most important event for black and white photography.

10th Annual Jury members included captains of the industry from Bonhams, Random House, Aeroplastics Contemporary, Stockholm City Museum, Annenberg Foundation, Leo Burnett, FTM Art Advisory and Fratelli Alinari who honored Spider Fellows with 505 coveted title awards in 31 categories.

Terri Gold Recent Awards at Photography Competitions

Terri Gold is honored to receive multiple awards from two photography competitions this year.

Terri was awarded 4 Bronze Titles at the 2014 PX3 prix de la photographie Competition in Paris, France, as well as 5 Nominations at the Black and White Spider Awards in Los Angeles, California.

Both competitions are juried by top international decision-makers in the photography industry.

Terri’s images from her series from the Omo Valley, Ethiopia were selected from thousands in entries from 73 countries at the Spider Awards and from 85 countries at PX3.

LONDON (June 18th, 2012) Professional photographer Terri Gold was awarded 3rd Place – Honor of Distinction in People: Kushti Wrestlers in Delhi and two Honorable Mentions: At the Bathing Ghats and Racing with the Wind by the 7th Annual Black and White Spider Awards at a prestigious Nomination & Winners PhotoShow. The live online ceremony webcast Saturday, June 9, 2012 was attended by photography fans in 72 countries who logged on to see the climax of the industry’s most important event for black and white photography.

The awards international Jury included captains of the industry from National Geographic, Fratelli Alinari, Heffel Fine Art to the Tate in London who honored Spider Fellows with 180 coveted title awards and 875 nominees in 14 categories.“It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 8,223 entries we received this year,” said Basil O’Brien, the awards Creative Director.
